As promised here is the homemade marinara sauce recipe.
This sauce is much better than any store bought I’ve tried!
The best part it’s cheap & super easy to make.
Takes about 5 minutes.
1 28oz can whole peeled tomatoes (drained)
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp red wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic – I pressed mine. If you don’t have a garlic press you can mince.
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Throw all ingredients in the blender or food processor, blend until smooth.
Put on the stove, low to medium heat to warm (I think it taste better heated) but if you prefer cold marinara sauce, stick in refrigerator until you are ready to use.
