Crock Pot Sunday!
The easiest, best tasting pulled pork sandwich
for the laziest of days & only 3 ingredients!!
I liked the bbq sauce so much I served a little side with the sandwich.
1 – 2lbs Pork Tenderloin
1 – 12oz Can of Root Beer
1 – 18oz Bottle of BBQ Sauce (We used Sweet Baby Rays
Cheddar Cheese (optional)
Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker and pour the can of root beer over the meat.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until pork shreds easily with a fork.
After pork has cooked, drain and discard the root beer.
* I actually saved just a little bit of root beer & added it to the bbq sauce.*
Shred the pork and place it back in the slow cooker.
Pour the barbecue sauce over the pork and stir to combine.
Serve immediately or keep warm in slow cooker until ready to serve.
Serve on hamburger buns with cheddar cheese (optional).
